Janet Messineo was out at the Wasque rip on Saturday the 9th of July and would like to share this report with our audience.

"The tide was HIGHER than I had ever seen before. The entire lower beach boardwalk from the parking lot was submerged in thigh high water. It was hip deep walking down from the parking lot on the lower board walk. This occurred 2 hours AFTER high so one can only imagine what it looked like before that time. By the time I was done fishing the water had subsided. This is very strange since the moon was barely half! The full moon is not until July 15th. Was this caused by the breach? It was the strangest thing walking down the boardwalk up to my thighs in water, kinda creepy. Maybe someone else has an explanation. I do not think I have EVER in 35 years seen that."

I came across this On The Water article again and just had to post it. This was a 77.4 Pound Striper that was caught in Rhode Island on June 20th, 2011. This will certainly get your fishing adrenalin moving...Wow!
