MV Surfcasters take stewardship of nature seriously...

Since their inception in 1989, members of MVSA have accepted a responsibility to promote and uphold sound conservation practices and laws. Some of the MVSA programs which give evidence to that commitment are the Martha's Vineyard Surfcasters beach "Courtesy Patrol", the  MVSA "Spent Fishing Line" collection boxes, the "Take a Kid Fishing" day, and many other programs and services.
