Greeting fellow surfcasters
Two weeks before the derby kickoffs off and there are still a bunch of fillet opportunities left. See link below:

In particular we need help for the solo AM shifts. PM shifts are covered by our fillet master and another volunteer. We can often get by with our fillet master only in the evenings. You'll recall from our initial call for volunteers that admission to the HQ building will be limited to derby committee members and volunteers only, and that the area between the building and fillet dock will be closed to the public during weigh-in periods. Also note that the weigh master table scale will be positioned at the front of the building, inside the barn door. Send an email to phil.horton54@gmail.com if you would like to help out with fillet.
There has been a significant number of updates to the derby website in the past few days and I encourage members who plan to participate this year to take a look. The key updates are the addition of a link to the "2020 Derby Changes" document, information about Derby Covid-19 protocols, and a link to the pre-registration/payment portal. Pre-registration will be available throughout the derby this year and the derby strongly encourages all participants to pre-register/pay before going to the shops (starting Sept. 4) to pickup your badge, hat and booklet. Registering online before you visit the shop will allow for an almost touch free registration experience.
